Indoor Air Quality problems can be caused by many different sources relating to materials, chemicals, moisture, ventilation and other factors. Having the proper equipment to assess the problem correctly is a key component of any thorough evaluation of a construction or indoor air quality problem of unknown origin.

C.L.I. Group, LLC uses state of art equipment when diagnosing IAQ and building related problems. Below is some of the equipment used by our company. C.L.I.  uses the same type of specialized equipment, including some of the equipment shown below when performing building assessment, Indoor Air Quality survey's, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and HVAC system balancing & diagnostics. The photo above shows our IAQ cart, designed by C.L.I. It includes Andersen viable impactor, Zefon mini-pumps, 2 vacuum pumps, Lighthouse 0.3-10µm particle counter, Solomat IAQ Surveyor Pro, BIOS DryCal Primary Standard for calibration in the field and accessories for all types of air, surface, wall cavity sampling.

Ask your expert to provide current N.I.S.T. traceable certificates and current calibration records for all equipment. Without these vital records, all information gathered may not be accurate.

Balometer used to measure CFM at supply and return ducts. Helps to evaluate duct leakage, system operation, etc.

Solomat IAQ Surveyor Pro measures parameters including temp., %RH, CO, CO2, Building Pressure, Differential Pressure, Air Velocity at Ducts and more

Tramex Survey Encounter used to measure temperature and moisture of materials and datalog results

Gastec Colormetric Sampling Pump used to measure specific indoor chemical concentrations

A-6 Bioaerosol Sampler used for taking viable samples onto selective media (agar plates)

Photovac 2020 Photoionization Air Monitor used to measure TVOC's (non-specific)

Drager Accuro used for colormetric tube tomeasure specific contaminants in air

Raytek Laser Non-Nontact thermometer used to measure surface temperature, look for building leakge, assess R values, find dew-point problems

BIOS DryCal (DC Lite) used to calibrate air sampling pumps in the field

Infrared Thermal Imaging camera used during building energy audits, moisture damage assessment, construction defect investigations and roof assessment

Moisture meter used to assess inside wall moisture, EIFS, etc.

Blower Door used during energy survey's and pressure diagnostics

Pipe camera system used for evaluation of underground piping and ducts.

Duct Blaster used to measure total system airflow and duct leakage.

Low E, Solar Gain meter used to evaluate proper window installations

Moisture Detection Meters for concrete, flat roofs, EIFS, wood, general purpose, data-logging

Provision Borescope used for eval;uating inside wall cavities, heat exchangers, etc.

Protimeter Moisture Measurement System (MMS) used for measuring dew-points, moisture, humidity, slab moisture, etc.

TrueFlow airflow measurement. Used for measuring total airflow at air handler.

TelAire CO2 Monitors used with HOBO Dataloggers, HOBO CO Monitors, HOBO Outdoor Monitor used for logging building parameters during IAQ assessments.

Lighthouse 3016 Particle Counter. This IAQ mdel measures particulate from 0.3 to 10 µm

Fyritr Pro combustion analyzer used for assessing fossil fueled appliances

Summa can used for taking grab or 8 hr. VOC air samples for analysis

Pressure pans. Used for performing preliminary duct leakage analysis.

C.L.I. designed IAQ investigation cart.

ppbRAE is the most sensitive pid on the market today. Used in IAQ investigations, odor assessment, drug lab evaluations
